Privacy note

This note explains what Website Design Epsom does with information you send through the enquiry form. It was last updated on 2 November 2026.

Who is responsible

Website Design Epsom operates this website for customers in Epsom and Surrey. To ask about your information, use the contact form and say that the message is a privacy request.

What we collect

If you send an enquiry, we receive the details you type: name, email, phone number if you add one, business name, town, the kind of work you need, your current website if you add it, and your message. The server also records a technical address for the connection so the form can limit spam.

Why we use it

We use the enquiry to reply to you and, if you go ahead, to prepare a quote and do the work. That is steps toward a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell the details.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept for up to 24 months unless the conversation becomes a project, in which case the relevant records are kept for as long as the work and any follow-up require, then deleted when they are no longer needed.

Who else sees it

The site is hosted on a web host, and the enquiry is emailed to us through an email provider. Those companies process the message so the form can work. They are not allowed to use it for their own marketing. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this site.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of the enquiry we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, using the contact form. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk if you think your information has been handled badly.
